SUMMIT Pants HD.

Tough waterproof pants. Used in light ski touring outings and intense hikes. Not practical for ski descents as they lack flexibility when vents are zipped up (maybe should have ordered a big size). Though I will gladly be trusting them for all other hiking and camping related activities.

Pants exactly as expected. Taiga employee called to verify and discuss my ordered sizing....that is way above and beyond these days

I have worn these pants for about 15 days in the rain and early wet snow and they are very good. I work in forestry so I am constantly brushing up against wet bush. The pants do eventually wet through with constant pressure from wet underbrush but very little. The best waterproofness I have come across so far. The breathability is also great. I love the full length zippers. The pants are also durable... Overall I am very pleased with these pants. I put my gear through hell in the woods everyday and so far these have held up well. I am always skeptical of spending this much on clothing that is just going to get wrecked but so far these are worth it. I nicked my pants today with a very sharp axe and the blade didn't go through. That and the last few days of misserable wet snow conditions have prompted me to leave a good review.

Owned first pair of Summit pants for 4 years of heavy use November to March. Finally need a new pair. Great sizing options. Light weight but very durable. I wear fleece pants as base layer making everything very breathable, no sweating! These pants are WATERPROOF!!
